About the role

This exciting new role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of one of the UKs fastest growing brands and contribute to the uptake of sustainable design practices across the fashion industry. 

 

Funded by Innovate UK and working with Thrudark and Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) you will utilise new technologies to transform Thrudark's product development process from fully manual to fully digitalised. This will include digitising design, sampling and prototyping workflows and developing virtual prototypes by digitising brand models and physical patterns.

 

The post holder will need to have experience of product development, be proficient in digital pattern cutting and experienced with Clo3D. An understanding of specialist software such as Lectra Modaris or Browzwear and an appreciation of sustainability within the fashion industry would be advantageous.

 

You will be employed by the University but will be working at Thrudark  for the Product Director.

 

This Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project is funded by Innovate UK and you will benefit from additional training and support from the KTP network.
