Position Duties – 3D Costume designer, soft and hard goods
- Digital sculpting and modeling
- Costume/fashion design in a 3D program, Clo 3D is a must
- Other 3D software knowledge is a big plus for hard good designs
- Creation of 3D assets for Clo 3D software and manufacturing purposes
- Generate digital art assets at a high level of proficiency and quality
- Fabrication, assembly, troubleshooting, and clean up of in-house samples
- Keeping up to date with scheduling of development timelines in order to hit deadlines
- Design original art assets or modify existing items for manufacturing purposes
- Collaborate with Packaging design for a more cohesive look and presentation of on-shelf products
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
The ideal candidate will present skills both in the fashion design as well as accessory design world. It will be an individual to merge the gap between the 3D hard good licensor assets and translating it into the world of patterns for sewn costume wearables.
