Purpose:
Support the Digital Creation program in the area of 3D
technology implementation, continuous improvements in product creation systems
and change management in close collaboration with the adidas group headquarter,
Creation Centers and external business partners. Ensures business relevance of
3D technologies and supports smooth implementation of 3D technologies within
the adidas Sourcing organisation and across the supply base (T1)
Key Responsibilities:
• To provide support in Sourcing APP for 3D related topics
• To facilitate activities of VR network within Apparel Sourcing by supporting
the activation of the Sourcing VR Champ network to understand and execute
against business needs
• Monitor and ensure standardization of 3D assets across T1
• Encourages and facilitates best-practice sharing amongst 3D technology users
in Sourcing/T1 and establishes platforms (e.g. season kick off, Virtualisation
summit)
• Support development of solutions for a smooth integration of 3D tools with
other systems (e.g. FlexPLM, Gerber, Cataligent etc.)
• Identifies opportunities to link digital creation data to innovative
manufacturing concepts (e.g. digital printing, 3D printing, knitting, TFP,
etc.) and supports implementation
• Support the continuous improvements of 3D tools used in adidas (Clo3d, etc.) for the Sourcing organisation and suppliers in close collaboration
with the headquarter
• Participating & support 3D technology related technical proof of concepts
for small to mid size technology innovations within T1/Sourcing/Headquarter
• Supports process reengineering projects and e2e digital creation pilots with
3D expertise
• Support the trainings for users within Sourcing (LO, T1s, etc.) on 3D tools
and supports onboarding of new users to digital transformation within Sourcing
• Support virtual performance monitoring of T1s for GASA and initiates performance
improvement plans
• Supports overall digital creation communication strategy by providing success
stories
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledgeable/experienced in Apparel 3D software (CLO, etc.) and
• Additional knowledge in 3D tools and render solutions like Blender, Maya,
Modo, etc. is preferred
• Knowledge in 2D pattern tools (e.g. Gerber, Lectra, Assyst, etc.)
• Good skills in Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
• Good knowledge in product design, pattern making and manufacturing
