CLO Recap: Ho Chi Minh User Summit 2024
We are thrilled to announce our Ecosystem Partnership Program (EPP), with fashion tech companies BeProduct (PLM), Tronog (Applications), Revobit (Scanner), PTTRNS.ai (Pipeline Software), SixAtomic (Pipeline Software), SimplySoft (Knitwear Solution), KM.ON by KARL MAYER (Knitwear Solution), Frontier (Materials), and DMIx by ColorDigitial GmbH (Color and Materials). The EPP combines the expertise and resources of each of these companies to enhance CLO’s 3D design process, allowing users to utilize features more seamlessly and effectively within CLO’s software. For example, Tronog’s Ecoshot feature will now be part of the CLO 2024.2 software update, released in November via the EPP initiative. This integration enhances seamless data exchange between CLO and Tronog, while addressing the longstanding ask for closer ties from mutual user bases. We’re excited to share a fun collaboration with Pantone to celebrate the launch of their “Dualities” palette, which introduces 175 new colors to the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors system (now available in CLO)! This collab with our long-time partner features a series of captivating digital content created by fashion designers from our CLO Creator Collective, highlighting the rich contrasts and nuances of the Dualities palette. These videos feature stunning digital renders that showcase the new colors in action, as well as behind-the-scenes footage that reveals the creative process behind each piece. The project will be released on CLO and Pantone’s social media channels over the next few months. We encourage you to get creative with the new colors and share your work with the hashtag #CLOxPantone! We’re thrilled to announce the launch of CLO Academy, a platform designed to make learning CLO easier and more accessible to everyone. Users of all skill levels can now master digital apparel design with lessons from official CLO Instructors with years of experience training industry professionals. Use code LAUNCH to get 50% off the intro courses for 1 week only! CLO Academy is designed to follow a university course structure to ensure that all students learn CLO the right way. Students can initially take the INTRO TO CLO Basic Apparel Design or INTRO TO CLO Basic Handbag Design courses to develop a strong foundation in CLO, and then additional focus courses can be taken after passing the Basic Apparel Design course. Currently, the focus courses available are The Button Down Shirt, Men’s Sport Coat, and Men’s Denim Jeans, with more coming soon. Over 170+ members from over 80+ European brands and vendors gathered in Munich for the CLO User Summit 2024 to explore opportunities and share experiences and insights about growing with CLO. One of the core focus areas of this year’s User Summit emphasized collaboration to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency in the 3D fashion design process. By fostering strong partnerships and encouraging seamless integration between different stakeholders, the summit aims to drive innovation and propel the industry towards greater heights of success. Guests began their journey at our exhibition area, where they could explore phygital collections from Enterprise users such as s.Oliver, FSM, Marc Cain, Cobalt, Weitblick, Happypunt, Hoplun and YKK. Each clothing item was equipped with a clothing tag containing a QR code to access its unique CLO-SET 3D embedded viewer. Guests could also discover 3D design talents at the CLO Academics booth and join the Epic Games x CLO booth which highlighted the potential of upscaling digital fashion for E-Commerce by combining CLO and Unreal Engine.
