Assistant Fashion Designer / Fashion Designer

Position Overview 

The incumbent is responsible for the design work throughout the product development process for clients.

He/she is required to possess strong fashion sense, the ability to conduct research to keep abreast of the market trends in order to meet the client’s business needs. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

-       Assist in design functions of different categories of apparel from trend analysis, creative direction projection, and design of marketable collections to completion of specification for fitting and production

-       Support the team to convert design directions and concepts to technical drawings and size fitting; adapting designs for mass production; following up team progress on pre-production / production

-       Help out routine tasks such as trend research, material and trim sourcing, colors, theme boards, coordination with factory and vendors

Job Requirements (Education / Experience / Skill-set)

-       Diploma or above in Fashion Design or related discipline

-       2 years’ or above experience in garment trading field, experience in USA market is preferable

-       Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, experience of 3D software such as CLO / Browzswear will be an advantage

-       Familiar with graphic design and print creation / manipulation

-       A good team player with positive attitude and strong willingness to learn

-       Good command of both spoken & written English and Chinese

-       Fresh graduate will also be considered
